Woman Robbed in Staged Car Accident
By: Talk Bangkok
A gang of thieves orchestrated a car accident on a woman to rob her of 1.95 million baht, in the Bangkok suburb of Nonthaburi, reports the Bangkok Post.

The victim of the robbery was hit by another female driver. This driver has been arrested by the police for conspiracy to commit theft and damage to property.

The robbery occurred when the two women were negotiating after the accident. Meanwhile, another person approached her car and smashed one of the car windows before taking off with the 1.95 million baht that was in the vehicle. She had just withdrawn the money from the bank.

Police are currently looking for a Malaysian man named Evan and his accomplices in relation to the crime. Gangs of foreigners and Thais have been carrying out car-crash thefts after lone victims withdraw money from banks.
